Commands

Parameters: < > = required, [ ] = optional Do not include [ ] or < > when executing the command.

Anime/Manga

How to use Anime/Manga commands:

  • Account

    • Usage: m.account <mal username>

    • Explanation: Ika will provide info on the given MAL account. Information includes things such as:

      • Days watched

      • Episodes watched

      • Average Score

      • Number of Shows watching

      • etc.

  • Ani

    • Usage: m.ani [mal or al] <anime title>

    • Explanation: Ika will display information on the title given such as :

      • Show Status

      • Synopsis

      • Genre

      • Score

      • etc.

    • Flags: The mal or al flag determine whether the information is pulled from MyAnimeList or Anilist. If no flag is given Anilist is the default.

  • Anisearch

    • Usage: m.anisearch <anime title>

    • Explanation: Ika will send an embed containing the top 5 search results on MAL from the given anime title.

  • Aniseason

    • Usage: m.aniseason <year> <season: winter, summer, spring, fall>

    • Explanation: Gives information on shows that aired in the given season.

  • Manga

    • Usage: m.manga <manga title>

    • Explanation: Ika will display information on the title given such as:

      • Manga Status

      • Number of Chapters

      • Score

      • Genre

      • etc.

  • Mangasearch

    • Usage: m.manga <manga title>

    • Explanation: Ika will send an embed containing the top 5 search results on MAL from the given manga title.

  • Schedule

    • Usage: m.schedule [m, t, w, r, f, s, su]

    • Explanation: If no arguments are passed then Ika will send an embed listing one show that is airing for everyday of the week. If there is an argument passed Ika will send an embed listing seven shows that are airing that day and their respective scores.

  • Coming soon

    • More commands which can interface with Anilist.co are currently under development and will be added soon. The MAL API has been having lots of problems as of late so the majority of commands will be migrated to having Anilist as the default. MAL functionality will NOT be removed from Ika it will just take an extra flag in most cases or possibly a different command.

    • As of this time m.ani is the only command that interfaces with Anilist.co all other anime/manga commands are still only using MAL

    • Embeds will have a footer at the bottom listing whether the information has been pulled from MAL or Anilist

Goofy commands made for fun

  • 8ball

    • Usage: m.8ball <question for 8ball>

    • Explanation: Magic 8-ball answers your questions.

  • Botstatus

    • Usage: m.botstatus [user]

    • Explanation: Sends status and info on bot.

  • Choose

    • Usage: m.choose <item1> <item2>

    • Explanation: Ika will choose between two items given to him.

  • Flip

    • Usage: m.flip

    • Explanation: Flips a coin. Returns heads or tails.

  • Help

    • Usage: m.help

    • Explanation: List the help commands.

  • Say

    • Usage: m.say <message>

    • Explanation: Mr. bot repeats message given to him.

  • Userinfo

    • Usage: m.userinfo [user]

    • Explanation: Returns information on the given user.

Images

Fun commands that send images in chat

  • Avatar

    • Usage: m.avatar [user]

    • Explanation: Sends users avatar as embed

  • Cat

    • Usage: m.cat

    • Explanation: Sends random pictures of cats. React with a cat to change the image

  • Dog

    • Usage: m.dog [breed]

    • Explanation: Sends random pictures of dogs. React with a dog to change the image

    • Examples: m.dog borzoi if dog is part of a sub-breed include the breed first follow by a slash then the sub-breed. m.dog hound/blood would give a blood hound image.

  • Inspire

    • Usage: m.inspire

    • Explanation: Ika sends you an "inspirational" message.
